Sparkle and Shine

Hello,

I hope you're all enjoying your Saturday.  It's a lazy kind of day today.  Just slow to get things done.  Oh well... I have all weekend!  :)

Worked on a few projects last night though.  Yipeee!

The first is a layout that was submitted at Sketches 4 All for the "Jingle Bells" Blog Hop - Stacy's Sketch Challenge (BH1).  You can see ALL the challenges in the Forum under Special Events.

This is the sketch we had to work with:

And here's my layout titled, "Sparkle and Shine."
This is our daughter a couple years ago.  She's just sitting there all smiles, waiting to open up her presents... and waiting for me to "get situated" to take pics!  :)

This was a great way to use up all those scraps!

Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV, American Crafts, Other
Fabric Ribbon
Wire Ribbon
Glitter Tape
Snowflakes
Ribbon
Glitter Foam Snowman
Fiskars Border Punch
Chipboard Holly Leaves
Epoxy Word
Page Title: Cut from pp

A chipboard holly leaf was added on the fabric ribbon.  Then I scattered snowflakes above that.

A couple small banners were tucked under the page title.  I used a border punch along the top of the title too.

A few more snowflakes were added beside the photo.

Strips of ribbon were added randomly on the paper strips and a few more snowflakes added in the lower left of my page.

A strip of wire ribbon was tucked under the fabric ribbon with a small banner at the end of it.  I love this glitter tape... it adds so much to the page!  It isn't fun to try and peel off the clear protective strip off the adhesive back though!

A glittery foam snowman was added on the photo with a small epoxy bubble word.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
