There Are No Ordinary Cats

Hi there,

Still feeling rather Blah... actually a LOT of Blah!  Ugh!  Can't seem to get out of this mode!

I had all the supplies gathered for this layout... so I actually surprised myself and completed it today!
This was submitted at Soul Scrappers for their Around the World Challenge (ATW13).  You can see the challenge here.

These are the inspiration photos and all the DT chose for "Christmas Around the World."  We all got to choose a photo from a different country... and these photos were then used as the inspiration to create your project.

Russia chosen by (Karen)

USA chosen by Mitzi

Thailand chosen by Shazza

Spain chosen by Libby

Norway chosen by Liz

France chosen by Debi

Finland chosen by Mary

Brazil chosen by Joy

Indonesia chosen by Dale

Australia chosen by Cheryl

Here's my layout titled, "There Are No Ordinary Cats."
I was inspired by the Indonesia and Thailand photos... the red and white.

This is our Tom-mer cat... always climbing into or onto something to take a nap.  On Christmas Day, he always loved to crawl on all the wrapping paper and sleep... or just watch everything going on.  He was such a low-key and fun-loving cat!

Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV, Colorbok
Ornament Tag
Cross Stitch Fabric
Ribbon
Holly Leaf
Paw Print Embellie
Swirly Bling: Home Made
Sticker Page Title
SU Border Punch
Sketch: Page Maps (Sept 2009)

The white cardstock was punched and swirly bling added below the photo.  The red fabric is actually cross-stitch fabric!  I rarely use red to cross stitch projects... and had this for some time... so I thought I would use it for something different.

Love this "cat" sticker!!

More bling was added above the photo.

Ribbon was added just over the photo with an ornament tag over it.  A red holly leaf was added with a tiny paw print embellie on it.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
