You Are 2 Cute

Hello!

Here's a fun challenge... to use up those alphas in your stash!
Yup... I made a small dent in my stash... just a small dent!  :)

You can see all the info at Soul Scrappers.  The challenge is Using Up Stash (UUS17).  Be sure to stop by and check it out.

"You Are 2 Cute"
My niece being silly with a watermelon rind!  She's so cute!  :)

Paper: Pebbles, Chipboard Alphas, Mists, Flowers, Letters, Ribbon, Doilies, Bling.
Sketch: Page Maps

Once all the letters were adhered at an angle, I sprayed several mists over them.

A doily is hidden under the flowers.  Home made glitter gems are in the flower centers.

More alpha letters from my stash for the page title.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  :)

Project 12 March 2015

Hello!

What a dreary day today!  Perfect for painting and scrapping.
While I was waiting for the first coat to dry... I created this layout for the Project 12 Challenge at Turtle Soup.

My grandson and I... having some fun taking pics.  Those faces he makes...
In some of the pics we were sitting farther apart... so I cut then and added along the bottom.

Paper: Paper Studio, Mists, Stickers, Border Punch.

Two different mists were used in each upper corner.

I cut a few stars from the pp to add on my pages... and used a border punch along the bottom.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  :)

Lovely

Hi there!

It's Friday!  Woo hoo!

I've been a busy little crafter these past couple of days.  This layout was created for the Mark Your Calendar Challenge (MYC16) at Soul Scrappers.
Lots of inspiration photos are provided to create your masterpiece!  Be sure to check it out!  :)

"Lovely"
This beautiful swan was seen at the park in Nebraska.  Just had to take pictures.... and was surprised at how close I could get!

Paper & Flowers: Paper Studio, Gems, Chipboard Swirls/Leaves: Blue Fern Studios, Various Mists & Inks, Sticker

The swirls were misted with several different mists.
Love these burlap flowers!

Along the left side of my page.

A closer look at the misted swirls and flowers.

I curled all the pp corners.

I added my own glitter gems in the larger flower centers.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  :)

Life is an Adventure... Dare It

Hey!

One more layout to share (for now)!  :)

This was submitted at Soul Scrappers for their Quote Challenge (QC47).  You can see all the info here.

"Life is an Adventure... Dare It"
Yup!  This is my sister and I with the lead singer of the band "3D In Your Face."
Oh my word!  They were the most amazing band... and pretty cool to chat with too!  :)
During half time... we both went to search for the other band members so we could take more pics with them.  So fun!

Paper: Paper Studio, DCWV, Ribbons, Glitter Letters, Tiny Words: Tim Holtz, Misting.
Page Maps Sketch

Tried out a couple different mists on the background.
Love those foam glitter letters!
Fabulous way to use up all those extra ribbons too!

A closer look at the cool glitter letters and misting.

In the lower left I added more ribbon and a cardstock sticker of a camera.
Poor lighting... sorry!

This arrow quote is PERFECT for my photo!  Love it!

I knotted ribbon through the tag and added these tiny Tim Holtz words on it.
Another sticker in the upper right of the photo... very appropriate!  :)

Friends Card

Hi there!

Yes... I made a another card!
After making 250 cards for my niece... I thought, "Why not make one more, right?"  :)

This card was created for the Card Challenge (CC40) at Soul Scrappers.  You can see all the info here.  The challenge is to use "newsprint" on your card.

"Friends" card:
Ahhhhh... something different than all the thank yous I was making!

Was worried I didn't have any newsprint pp!  When I finally found some I also used it to make the flowers too!  I curled up the edges of the petals and added gems in the centers.  Lots of bling completes this card!  Gotta love bling!

Paper: Paper Studio, Puffy Sticker, Flower Die, Bling.

A closer look.  You can just see the newsprint on the puffy sticker!  :)

The lace border is actually a sticker.  Pretty cool stuff!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  :)

The Zoo

Hi there!

Beautiful day out there!  My 3 mile walk was amazing!
Worse part... icing my shins!  Ouch!

Here's a fun layout that was created for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge (TTT4) at Soul Scrappers.  You can see all the info here.

"The Zoo"
This is me... standing in front of the Desert Dome at the Omaha Zoo in Nebraska (Nov 2014).  Even though you don't see all sorts of wild animals behind me... or anywhere in the background actually... yes... this is a Zoo!  The most amazing zoo ever!

Paper: DCWV, Misting, Stickers.
Page Maps Sketch

The Tic Tac Toe Board
Just choose your 3-in-a-row and create your project!  It's that easy!

I chose the center up and down row:  Adventure, Circles, 2 Word Title.

A little misting (which took forever to dry)!  Yes... I'm very impatient!  :)

A strip of stickers was added on the orange pp.

Love this quote!  Beside it I added a "Road Trip" circle sticker.

Another strip of arrows were placed below the page title.

Very appropriate sticker... "Look at this!"  :)
