Christmas Magic

Hello everyone!

As the snow is falling... I'm trying to stay toasty warm inside...
We are definitely getting enough of the fluffy white stuff!

Here's a layout that's my example for the Quote Challenge (QC31) that I'm hosting at Soul Scrappers.  You can see the challenge here.

Hop on over there to check it out.  Who knows... you may decide to play along with not only my challenge but maybe a few of the other challenges offered too!
Here's the link to the Current Challenges.

Since we're full swing into the Holiday Season, my quote is all about Christmas.

"When we recall Christmas past, we usually find that the simplest things - not the great occasions - give off the greatest glow of happiness."  -Bob Hope

Isn't this an awesome quote?
All you have to do is add the quote somewhere on the project of your choice.  Easy peasy, right?
And, I will also be offering a prize to one random winner.  My challenge ends Jan 6th!

Here's my example layout titled, "Christmas Magic."
This photo was taken quite a few years ago, when our son was younger.  Love that HUGE smile on his face!  Now this is what Christmas is about!!  All his presents are open... and he's so happy!

Supplies used:
Paper: DCWV
Various Die Cuts
Ribbon
Sticker Page Title
Glitter Foam Snowflake & Present
Vinyl Shapes
Gold Ribbon
Fiskars Border Punch
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
Computer Font: Papyrus
Sketch: Page Maps (Aug 2013)

In the lower left are paper and ribbon banner strips, a circle and a cute little glitter present on top of it all.

The smaller red circle was embossed.  A vinyl square piece was tucked under the page title.

The quote was added above the photo.

The right side of the quote block was punched and a gold ribbon added on it too.

Here's a look at the right side of my page.  Lots of embellies to look at!  A large foam snowflake was tucked under the photo with various banners and then the cardstock die cuts added.  Two vinyl shapes were also tucked in above the snowflake and beside the tree.

Here's a closer look.

And another look at the layering of embellies.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope you will stop by Soul Scrappers and check out all the fun in store.  Lots of challenges, and there is sure to be something to inspire you to play along too!

Also... to start off the New Year with a BANG... I will be hosting a NEW challenge (at Soul Scrappers) starting Jan 15th called, "Mark Your Calendar."  You won't want to miss it!
