John Cena

Hello all!

Here's a layout for the GRAB 5 challenge at Soul Scrappers.

Grab 5 from your stash... the older the better.... and create your project.
You can see all the Grab 5 info here.

I decided on a layout.

This is my old stash of supplies I plan on using.
Found this denim cloth in my stash... along with random black ribbon and twine. There's several die cuts added too.  Once I start completing my layout I will choose which die cuts to use.

And here's the completed layout titled, "Champion"
Oh yeah!  This is John Cena!  Standing this close to him... yeah... nice!
Went to the WAX MUSEUM in Tennessee this past summer.
What a fun time!  Some of them looked so real it was kinda creepy.  And challenging to have a photo taken with them without touching any of them!  The props were a riot too... and invited you to play along and get photos!  Memorable trip!

I added a black bow on the striped heart.  I used two of the die cuts on it.  The gold sticker die cut says, "Life is beautiful."  Haha

Twine was left loosely under the photo and behind the die cuts.  The camera has two tiny hearts on it and along the side I wrote "Wax Museum 2018."

The denim fabric is behind the photo and die cuts.  Had to add this die cut saying, "What up?"

The "OMG" tucked behind the photo pretty much sums it up!  :)

I chose gold lettering for the page title along the bottom.

New challenges are coming up on Soul Scrappers.  Stop by and check it out.

Winter Wonderland

Hello all!

I have a layout to share which was created for the Soul Scrappers December challenge.
You can see all the info here.

The challenge is Pick 3Choose 3 to create your layout.  Simple as that.  Or you can even use as many or all from the list that you wish to make it that more fun!

So here's the list for the Pick 3 for December:

1. Christmas/holiday theme
2. Colors red/green/white
3. Use 3 or more PP's
4. Trees
5. Decorated tag
6. Journaling
7. Stamping

From the list, I created this layout titled, "Winter Wonderland"
I used: 3 pp, Red/green/white, Tree, Christmas/Holiday theme

My page title, using these cool stickers.
I added silver glitter ribbon to separate the two pp.

The tree fit so perfect with my layout.  A snowflake was added on the photo as well.

Under the leaves, I tucked a small Christmas tree (upper left) and a flower.  On top of the leaves is a large wooden snowflake with a glittery red circle and holly leaves die cut on top of that.

I also tucked a couple of tickets under the snowflake cluster.

More flowers were tucked behind the photo with smaller snowflakes scattered beside it.

Love this deer sticker!  Below it are additional die cuts and flowers with small snowflakes in their centers.

In the upper right is another sticker of pine branches with another cluster of die cuts beside it, which I neglected to get a closer photo of.

More challenges are coming throughout the month of December, so stop by Soul Scrappers and check them out.

And remember, in January 2020, there will be some very interesting challenges that you won't want to miss out on.

Enjoy... and till next time,

Sketches anyone?

Hello!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I'd like to share with you a Sketch Challenge at Soul Scrappers that I host each month.
If you love sketches, this is the challenge for you.
Stop by Soul Scrappers and join us.

December is here and with it comes lots of fun and some NEW challenges.  And for 2020 there are even more surprises for you.  You won't want to miss this!

Now for my challenge...

This is the freebie sketch by Kimeric Kreations, Digichick

And here is my example layout titled, "Family"
This photo was taken at my grandson's high school graduation this past June.  The 4 of us.  Love this photo!

The background was created by using a misc. strip of cardstock and sliding it through paint and then sliding it onto the cardstock.  I then misted the background and splattered it with ink also.
The hexagons were created with a punch.

This vellum sticker was perfect for my page title.

Twine was used as a bow above the flower and a combination of twine and ribbon together to create another larger bow below the flower.

As always, prizes are offered for one lucky winner.
You can see all my challenge info here.

Till next time,

Here's the Tic Tac Toe board:
Simply choose a row to complete your project.

I decided to make a card using the diagonal row, but most choose a layout.  It's simply your choice.
Red, green, white; Christmas theme and the word Joy.
Thought this background paper was too cute not to use to make one more Christmas card!  :)
